Live Case – Project

Use live messaging/conversation data to understand brand affiliation

A Collaboration Between

Project Synopsis

I run a messaging app with built-in AI that processes approx. a million SMS messages a day across thousands of users in the US. This project would involve taking conversation data we have to build user-friendly analytics for businesses/brands such as word clouds and customer profiles. For example, we found out people who mention “smiles direct club” talk about “golf” most frequently vs. the average person. These types of analytics are becoming commonplace in data-driven advertising and firms like dstillery (dstillery.com) and audience.ai are devoted to this. We have the advantage of having a private real-time data-set.

Company Overview

Mei (pronounced "May") is the first messaging app with a built-in AI assistant. Mei delivers real-time personalized analysis and advice based on your text conversations. Our app is designed to use data and AI to understand users and their contacts better than any other platform. All you have to do is download Mei from the Google Play store and you can message any cell phone user in the world. In addition to all the messaging functions that you'll find on most major messaging apps, we've added features and security including end-to-end encryption, emphemeral messages, and customizable view. You can find extra comfort knowing we don't ask for personally identifiable information, offering additional privacy.
