The purpose of the current project is to identify a geographical target area in the United States that is an ideal market for our company products and services that will reduce utility costs and help our clients to become leaders in energy efficiency, sustainability, and responsible corporate citizenship.

In terms of data sources, please use the Department of Energy public data (all publicly available and downloadable), data which contains 40 years of data, as well as ANY OTHER public available data to collect the following key metrics/data points to help us identify our ideal client to target.

A few factors that determine our ideal client include:

  • Square Footage of the building
  • Specific Industry
  • Weather/Climate where the client is located
  • Energy usage- Kilowatt (can be used to calculate CO2)
  • Utility Rates
  • Tax incentives/Rebates -energy efficiency/sustainability
  • Co2
  • Therms (BTU) for gas
  • Carbon footprint (if available)
  • Building Management Systems Used (if available)
  • Building Blueprints (if available)
  • HVAC Equipment Owned (if available)

Other potential questions to explore:

-Who are all the major environmental organizations/impact groups that are aligned with our ideal clients worldwide?
-What environmental funds are available and what is their policy for participation?
-What are the organizations (public/non-profit) that are advocating sustainability and if so, do they offer grants or funding?
-Who is our competition?
-What are their products and services to drive sustainability and energy efficiency?
-How do our competitors measuring their companies/client success? (Example, Company X saved 1 million dollars and reduced emission by 100tons  (Examples: carbon footprint, money saved, Kwh saved, trees planted, plastics recycled)

Note: We have additional Powertron Global Data (if needed). It contains 300 case studies and information in Tableau using our HVAC technologies that have seen a 20%+ energy reduction using our solutions. For example, we know that if companies have goodman Chiller, we can see a 22.1% increase in efficiency
