Business Analytics Practicum or Internship

Collaboration Overview

M. S. in Data Analytics students complete their degree plan with a final internship experience. They have taken all required courses and a set of elective courses related to Business Analytics applications. These students with have skills/knowledge in the fundamentals of Descriptive, Predictive, and Prescriptive analytics. Coursework includes visualization/communication, advanced statistical methods, statistical software, data mining, and optimization modeling. Students have also taken classes in three of the following four: Six Sigma, Financial Analytics, Econometrics, Human Resource Analytics. These graduate students are completing their degree, so they will be available for full-time employment at the end of the "co-op". Four learning objectives will guide appropriate projects.
