Course Title
MBA Business Consulting (Spring 2022)
Collaboration Overview
Montclair State University is searching for companies interested in participating in a semester-long Live Business Case with their MBA Consulting Course this Spring!
We will work with you and your team directly on designing a project-based engagement that aligns our course learning objectives with your company goals so that everyone wins! Please keep in mind that this should be primarily designed as a student learning experience and that the students will need time to get up-to-speed on your industry, products, and business model before they can drive value to your company.
Previous projects include Adidas, where top Experiential Educator and Program Leader Geoff Chellis led a project helping the company develop loyalty with today’s generation of runners. The students were divided into 4 teams, each of which had to do extensive data gathering, interviews with subject matter experts, ideation sessions, and 3 rounds of client feedback. At the end, each Montclair Student team presented a different breakthrough idea, all equally compelling, and the company commented how the 4 ideas combine into a rich solution set for them to pursue.
Engagement Format: Live Case
Think "Hackathon" or Case Competition with a whole class of students! This learning format allows educators to deliver experiential learning to students at scale. Students are often split into groups to work on a live case (or a series of cases) from a real host company that directly relates to key learning objectives.
