Collaboration Overview

UMD's Growth Strategy class looks to immerse students into the startup world to assist a real company with growing pains, growth challenges and strategic initiatives. The course is part theory and part application, the students apply the skills and methodologies learned throughout the course to the projects they are assigned. The course is looking to work with a highly motivated startup that is currently experiencing growing pains and would benefit from student consultants providing a unique perspective to real time problems.

Engagement Format: Live Case

Think "Hackathon" or Case Competition with a whole class of students! This learning format allows educators to deliver experiential learning to students at scale. Students are often split into groups to work on a live case (or a series of cases) from a real host company that directly relates to key learning objectives.
