| Overview | EventMate is a one-stop shop for events that consolidates ticketing, networking, and Q&A in one seamless app. Attendees love the app because it fosters meaningful relationships by allowing them to pre-plan their meetings before going to events through swiping, matching, and messaging. We solve the problem of event organizers having to coordinate many different applications as well as attendees being dissatisfied by not meeting relevant people at events. The product has only been on the app store for a few months but because of our unique focus on networking, we are already generating revenue, hitting 70% month-over-month MAU growth, and have landed partnerships with many huge events (with over 1,000 people) hosted by WeWork, Young President's Organization (YPO), Black Expo America, and Houston Black Film Festival. The team tackling this $8.5 billion market opportunity consists of Sidd (CEO and ex-investment banker) and Atharva (CTO and coding genius). We are currently based in New York in the WeWork Labs (Area 51) Incubator Program. |
