Project Synopsis

Ciall  (pronounced KEEL) Clinical Services, LLC  is an innovative clinical resourcing firm focused on providing clinical development and operations expertise to venture capital portfolio companies and biotech/pharma industry sponsor companies.  In this collaboration MBA students will research potential venture capital clients and obtain information on their biotech/pharma startup portfolio including research stage, current resources, and if possible obtain information on their needs relative to our offerings.  In addition students will conduct research to determine who our global competitors are (if any), and based on the information obtained will develop a go-to-market  strategy to differentiate us from any competitors and fine-tune our service offerings to better fit with our target client needs.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  • Understand the Venture Capital landscape in the biotech/pharma industry and how VCs resource their portfolio of companies
  • Determine who supports these VCs for resourcing needs and how they market their services
  • Learn the key resources and services required to take a new investigational drug product from the bench to human testing

Ciall Clinical Services, LLC is an innovative clinical resourcing firm focused on providing clinical development and operations expertise to venture capital portfolio companies and biotech/pharma industry sponsor companies. Across all biotech/pharma companies there are common clinical activities that are required by regulations and/or industry best-practice to ensure quality planning and conduct of clinical studies. These activities require clinical expertise and resourcing but may not always require full-time individuals due to the early stage of drug development or financial constraints of a newer company. Ciall fills this need for our clients by providing team of experts who provide clinical development and operations services for a single company or common services across a suite of portfolio companies.

  • March 4, 2020 - Quick Competitor Analysis

    Determine who our global competitors are (if any) including their location, size, and service offering listing and current clients.  If no exact match competitors are found also provide information on potential competitors operating in a similar space or with offerings that partially crossover Ciall’s offerings

  • March 5, 2020 - Develop a Go-To-Market Strategy

    Develop a go-to-market strategy to differentiate us from any competitors and fine-tune our service offerings to better fit with our target client needs

    Provide the Ciall team with a full set of recommendations for reaching our target clients and gaining their appreciation for the value that the Ciall model provides
