Live Case – Project

PRODUCT: Data and Analytics – New Offering Analysis

A Collaboration Between

Project Synopsis

The continued rise of data-driven technology (cloud, advanced analytics, and microservices-based APIs) is enabling group insurance carriers to unlock intelligence previously buried in their systems and forms and convert it into valuable customer insight. It is also creating new opportunities for insurers to differentiate themselves in an otherwise commoditized industry.

With this market need in mind, Vitech is working on extending their market leading, native cloud platform with a data and analytics offering to enable group insurers to unlock data and put data-driven information to work. The solution will be positioned to help insurers provide business insight to their customers to create competitive advantage. Native cloud platforms ease the aggregation of data from multiple sources to support 360-degree analytics. API-first enabled architecture facilitates real-time integration with core systems and external ecosystems such as niche data providers in behavioral health, musculoskeletal, or other high-propensity medical conditions for creating more relevant and meaningful insight.

What are the high impact use cases insurers would want to address with more valuable data driven insight? What strategies and capabilities does Vitech need to put in place to deliver a compelling data and analytics solution to market? Would the offering benefit from Vitech partnering with others to deliver? What differentiators should Vitech focus on to capture high margin growth?
