A Collaboration Between
Studium would like to learn more about the K12 and post-secondary education markets in India. What are the main initiatives and priorities of schools? Are they receptive to technology and innovation? What sorts of systems do they have in place, and how to the procure or purchase new products and services? We would also like to learn more about the student experience in India. Are extracurriculars like clubs and organizations active on campuses? How important is the social experience to the student? What apps and services are they using outside of what school is providing?

- Why do they plan to expand into this new specific region and market?
- What is the language, education, religion, values, customs, socio-economic, and geo-political make-up of the new target region?
- In what important ways do these cultural factors inform assumptions about the target customer and their needs for the company’s products and services? For instance, what are the implications for the company’s:
- business model?
- employee training and development?
- What cultural or political norms might have an effect on the proposed expansion? How can the company mitigate negative risk factors?

August 24, 2021 - Benchmarking Analysis
- Does the company have competitors internationally? What does the competitive environment look like in India?
- Who are the main competitors in the market?
- What unique offerings does each competitor have? How does the company product, service, and brand compare to these companies? How would you benchmark the company against competitors?
- What are the competitors’ current market advantages, weaknesses?
- How do Studium’s products and services stack up against international competitors?
- What opportunities and challenges are presented for Studium as they look to enter the market in this region?

- What are the conservative and optimistic sales projections for the proposed expansion?
- What are the initial costs of expansion (not including current operating costs)?
