Prepare to Launch Farina by Producing a Comprehensive Marketing Strategy

Project Synopsis

Hive Hospitality is an organization with lots of experience designing, launching, and scaling hospitality concepts. They are preparing to launch a new concept called Farina, a concept that blends of . They need your help preparing for launch and planning out their marketing strategy to get customer adoption quickly once they launch. How can Farina differentiate themselves? How do you inform customers about the opening of the physical store locations in Reston and Arlington, VA? What ways would you suggest cross-selling the subscription to physical patrons? What about selling the subscription to customers that have not yet been in the store? Don’t forget to dive deep into successful marketing examples for similar companies to see what best practices we can learn from them. The ideal outcome of this project would be a comprehensive marketing plan, including a detailed overview of the marketing mix to achieve the best results. An effective marketing plan should also outline resources required for the plan to be successful and how you would measure success. With any additional time, please help the Farina team think through the official launch strategy as well.

    • What about subscription wine and spirits?

  • October 12, 2021 - Identify Successful Marketing Strategies Used by Similar Concepts

    • How does the retail store strategy compare with the subscription concept?
    • What components need to be included in the comprehensive marketing strategy based on your diligence?
    • What are the key differentiators for Farina? How can the company highlight those through a carefully designed marketing strategy?

  • November 9, 2021 - Produce a Comprehensive Marketing Strategy

    • How would you plan marketing for the first 12 months of operations?
    • What budget would be required?
    • What about other resources like desgners, copywriters, PR agents?
    • How will you measure success?
    • What should be the marketing mix?
    • Are there influencers or others that might add value?
    • What should be the social media strategy?

  • December 7, 2021 - Finalize Marketing Plan with Official Launch Strategy

    • How should the company plan for the official launch of the Farina concept?
    • How can they make the launch extra successful?
    • How would you measure success?
    • What types of event marketing and promos could be a good fit for a concept like Farina?
    • Who should be at the launch?
    • What about PR?
