Live Case – Project
Product Realization – Gates Process Execution
A Collaboration Between
The goal of this project would be to take an API through a single gate of the gates process. We are actively releasing multiple APIs to the market and students will get an opportunity to take a API product from either the Concept Gate to the Planning gate or the Planning Gate to the Platform Development Gate. The specific API will part of Alef’s 5G Edge API Family. There are templates and examples for students to leverage; depending on the phase objectives are as follows:
Concept to Planning:
• Product Scope Statement
• Market Product Requirements Document
• Preliminary Business Case
Planning to Platform Development:
• Market Product Requirements Document Update
• Business Case Update
• Solutions Requirements
• Documentation Plan
• Training Plan
* We prefer students have a Computer Science or Engineering Undergraduate as a prerequisite for this project. *
