https://Postgamerecap.com Launching last Fall with a pilot program of 16 schools, 16 sponsors and 4 broadcasters, we plan to grow 10x by Spring 2021 and 30x by Fall 2021. We need you to propose a plan for growth in three areas key to the success of our operations: 1) schools/high school football teams, and 2) sponsors, and 3) student broadcasters/social media interns, Our two Key Focus Areas:
  1. Scale - exponential, organic and rapid growth (primarily onboarding schools and sponsors)
  2. Network/Connections to University Sports Media departments

Company Overview

Friday Night Lights popularized the "magic of high school football"  and what it means to a local community.  PostGame Recap was launched to capture that spirit, by publishing a weekly podcast episode, interviewing the coach of your favorite high school team, the day after each game.  Created by coaches, for coaches!  You can hear it in each episode!

  • February 25, 2021 - Deep-dive into PostGame Recap

    What is PostGame Recap’s business model? For instance:

      • What are the organization’s goals?
      • How does it work to achieve its goals? Processes?
      • How are they organized to achieve goals?
        • How would you describe the organization, key positions and associate roles?
        • What are the key resources used to achieve its goals?
        • Who are their customers and what are their needs/wants?  What products/services do they offer?
      • How does PostGame Recap create, deliver, and capture value in the current marketplace?

    Suggested Deliverable:

    Produce an overview report to discuss/present internally on your understanding of PostGame Recap as an internal exercise is to ensure everyone is on the same page and understands the business model before moving on to more critical areas of the project.

  • March 10, 2021 - Recommend Strategies for Engaging High School Football Coaches

    PostGame Recap wants to grow the number of high schools that use their podcasting services.

    • What strategies has PostGame Recap used in the past that were successful?
    • Conduct survey (broad) and focus group (small and targeted) of high school football coaches and athletic directors, to learn best practices and effective strategies for engaging this target audience with the least amount of friction.
      • What channels of communication are preferred?
      • What messages/content/subject lines are attractive and prompt them to open or want to learn more?
      • How is time an important factor, for instance time of day or season?
      • Hindrances to signing up for a service like this?
      • What other preferences?

    Suggested Deliverable:

    PowerPoint presentation on findings and recommendations; 1-2 communication templates that correspond with recommended communication medium (e.g. email, LinkedIn, etc.)

  • March 26, 2021 - Make Recommendations for Increasing Sponsorship

    Given PostGame Recap’s niche and localized market:

    • Who is PostGame Recap’s ideal listener? Ideal Sponsor?
    • What kind of products or services would integrate well in their podcasts?
    • What kind of products/services do their listeners want to hear/learn about?
    • What does research in industry publications, social media, other communications suggest about who PostGame Recap should target?
    • What are some ways  PostGame Recap could personalize and promote the products/services advertised?

    Presentation on recommendations for increasing sponsorship

  • April 9, 2021 - Develop a Recruitment Strategy for Sourcing Student Broadcasters

    PostGame Recap wants to grow the number of student broadcasters for their podcast services. Brainstorm and research to find out:

    • What strategies has PostGame Recap used in the past that were successful?
    • Where are these student found, and what are the networks and channels for reaching them?
    • For instance, in the university/college setting:
      • Sports media programs
      • Sport management programs
      • Communications programs
    • What networks could be built or leveraged to create a pipeline of future students for filling broadcaster/regional manager roles?
    • Can you create a listing of those networks and associated contacts based upon your research?

  • April 29, 2021 - Cracking the Three S's: Schools, Students, and Sponsors

    Make recommendations for growing PostGame Recap’s company in the three target areas:

      • Schools (high school football teams)
      • Sponsors – local, community-based sponsors
      • Students – (both university student broadcasters and social media interns)

    Suggested Deliverable:

    Marketing and recruitment strategy
