Project Synopsis

Help grow SEPA Mujer’s social media presence across different platforms, monitor social media accounts for potential retweet/re-share from supporter organizations, relevant campaigns, founders, corporate supporters, etc. Create marketing materials like videos, stories, blogs. Update our web page with relevant messaging, photos, stories, blogs.  Review of outreach and education materials, like brochures.

Deliverables include:  1) written strategic social media/marketing development plan  2) updated website  3) Specific marketing of 5 public campaigns (logo, memes, graphics for social media and paper).

Fundada en 1993, la agencia está dedicada a educar, informar y organizar la comunidad. Organización sin fines de lucro establecida en la comunidad Latina con el objetivo de ayudar al desarrollo de la de mujer latina en la comunidad. Key Project Milestones

  • June 25, 2020 - Strategic social media development plan

    A written social media development plan will specify recommendations and next steps for enhancing SEPA Mujer’s use of social media.  This includes website, facebook, FaceBook Live, twitter, instagram.  Some of these steps will be implemented during the course of the project.


    Suggested Deliverable:

    Written strategic social media development plan.

  • July 15, 2020 - Website Update

    SEPA Mujer’s website needs a new look.  Students will develop recommendations to upgrade the website and then implement those changes.  Preliminary suggestions include change of home page, graphics, ability to add info from other sources, videos, etc.


    Suggested Deliverable:

    Completion of the updated website.

  • August 5, 2020 - Campaign Graphics and Marketing

    SEPA Mujer engages in many public campaigns about issues that impact the Latina immigrant community.  Examples include One Fair Wage campaign, Census Campaign, Public Charge campaign, Green Light Campaign, Voter Registration campaign.  These are campaigns that occur in -person through meetings, rallies, protests, but also occur using social media.  Help is needed to create specific logos, memes, videos for specific campaigns. Campaigns for this project will be chosen through dialogue with the Executive Director.


    Suggested Deliverable:

    Completion of marketing/ design of graphics for 5 public campaigns.
