ZebraSci Flex HD Equipment Functionality Upgrade & Functionality –
A Collaboration Between
Medical devices and combination products such as prefilled syringes and cartridges are lubricated with silicone oil. The silicone oil is an important system component because it helps ensure that medication is delivered appropriately to a patient. However, lubrication layers change over time and the silicone can dewet into the medication during storage.
The ZebraSci Flex HD technology has been developed to image the lubricant layer in a container filled with medication. ZebraSci has identified several different software upgrades that would be helpful to provide greater functionality to the equipment.
