Course Title

Fashion Brand Management

Collaboration Overview

Long Island University is looking for a host company to work on a Live Business Case from October 10th through December 4th. This 8-week engagement should ideally focus on Marketing, PR & Communications, Sales & Business Development and/or overall Growth Strategy (samples for these subject areas can each be found here).
The 18 students enrolled in the class will each spend roughly 5 hours per week working on the projects in small teams of 5 where they’ll be competing with each other to come up with the best insights for you. They will be receiving mentorship from a seasoned fashion and merchandising faculty, Jamie Ross, who has deep expertise in areas related to your project.
The time commitment is manageable (1-2 hours per week of mentoring) and the engagement is free for participating companies.

Engagement Format: Live Case

Think "Hackathon" or Case Competition with a whole class of students! This learning format allows educators to deliver experiential learning to students at scale. Students are often split into groups to work on a live case (or a series of cases) from a real host company that directly relates to key learning objectives.
