Course Title

Finance & Risk Management

Collaboration Overview

Long Island University is looking to do a financial risk management analysis on an exciting company. Through this Live Business Case, the class of students plan to analyze a company from different perspectives to better understand the different ways companies can mitigate their risk and exposure.
To participate, a company just needs to web conference a few times throughout the summer term to get the students excited and remind them that they're working on something real and tangible.
The students plan to deliver a final presentation and written report on their risk assessment exercise.

Engagement Format: Live Case

Think "Hackathon" or Case Competition with a whole class of students! This learning format allows educators to deliver experiential learning to students at scale. Students are often split into groups to work on a live case (or a series of cases) from a real host company that directly relates to key learning objectives.
