Course Title

Strategic Communication Capstone

Collaboration Overview

The Capstone in Strategic Communication simulates a senior communication management context, where students will apply what they have learned via the graduate studies curriculum. This fast-paced, deadline-driven course provides an opportunity for students to not only demonstrate specific skills and knowledge in strategic communication, but also will assess crucial industry capacities in areas including teamwork, time management, client relations, critical thinking, creativity, and project coordination. Student groups will work with unique clients in a variety of different industry areas to identify a strategic communication problem, analyze related proprietary data, engage in client check-in meetings, and develop an evidence-based strategic communication plan that will be presented to the client and the class.
