Course Title

UMD Consult Your Community (CYC) – Spring 2020 Consulting Engagement

Collaboration Overview

CYC is conducting its Spring 2020 engagements which consist of student groups from UMD that will consult for your company! CYC is looking for companies willing to give students an opportunity to work on strategic areas of your firm. Students will spend roughly 100 hours over a 12 week period to help your company uncover recommendations and areas of opportunity. Student groups will hold presentations on Monday May 11, 2020 at the University of Maryland, College Park campus. Host companies are encouraged to attend and participate!

Engagement Format: Capstone

Small Team Consulting Project - Students work in consulting teams of 3-5 directly with faculty and client liaisons on developing real solutions to real-world challenges.

    Last date for companies to express interest and finalize the Statement of Work (SOW)

  • February 17, 2020

    Project Kickoff: CYC teams will contact Host Companies to schedule a kickoff meeting

  • March 9, 2020

    Industry Presentation: Student groups to present

  • April 6, 2020

    Mid-Semester Deliverable Presentations: Student groups to present

  • May 11, 2020

    Engagement End / Final Deliverable Presentations: Student groups will present their final deliverable’s, Host Companies have been invited to this event at the University of Maryland College Park.
