Partnership Announcement: Fresh Set of Eyes

CapSource is excited to announce a partnership with Terri Albert and her training and development organization, Fresh Set of Eyes. The goal of this partnership is to exp and and enhance CapSource’s available resources for their network of hundreds of universities that administer experiential learning for their students. With the help of Terri’s stellar training curriculum for faculty and administrators, we expect our community to feel more confident when delivering experiential learning engagements that include third-party industry stakeholders.

 

Fresh Set of Eyes is an organization that focuses on professional development and training for faculty interested in improving the quality of their experiential learning collaborations. Terri and her team at Fresh Set of Eyes does this through specialized courses, custom coaching, a bank of specialized resources, and thought leadership articles.

 

As a first initiative, CapSource and Fresh Set of Eyes are excited to announce their Experiential Learning Effectiveness Institute, which is a flexible, customized, expert-led training and development curriculum for higher-ed faculty looking to improve their effectiveness when it comes to leading a course that involves experiential learning with third-party industry stakeholders like corporates, non-profits, and companies in the local community.

 

This is a fully online, educational, motivational, experiential learning training for professors supported by webinar guided instruction. You’ll be able to discuss your opportunities and challenges with Terri, an expert in creating and delivering project-based experiential learning engagements. The purchase of this course will includes a bank of helpful resources and 4-hours of private faculty coaching to ensure you’re feeling as prepared as possible for your experiential learning adventure.



If you choose to enroll, you will:

  1. Learn how to use key tools and resources for delivering effective experiential learning,
  2. Build a completed, detailed syllabus for a project-based experiential learning course including a course delivery plan based on validated best practices, and
  3. Provide your students with a highly effective lifelong learning experience contributing to their unique and differentiated leadership style and skillset.

This program is geared towards faculty at schools looking to scale-up their client-based experiential learning classes with faculty training focused on three key aspects: recruiting and framing company projects, on-boarding faculty, identifying and recruiting coaches and mentors, ensuring positive outcomes, and grading students.

 

The course will also highlight the benefits of using CapSource as part of the process in order to ensure productive engagements and quality outcomes for all parties.
