Collaboration Overview

Lehigh University's Computer Science and Business (CSB) Capstone program focuses on real-world applications of both business and technology. We see projects through from planning to execution, with an emphasis on project management and teamwork. Students who have participated in the CSB Capstone program find that their experiences are invaluable once they have entered the workplace.

Engagement Format: Capstone

Small Team Consulting Project - Students work in consulting teams of 3-5 directly with faculty and client liaisons on developing real solutions to real-world challenges.

    Collaboration request published. Industry Partners may express interest in participating.

  • November 16, 2020

    Educators will begin interviewing interested Industry Partners to discuss project ideas.

  • November 30, 2020

    Final date for Industry Partners to express interest in participating.

  • January 15, 2021

    Educators and Industry Partners finalize project charters, legal documents, and background materials.

  • February 4, 2021

    PROJECT MATCHING SESSION – Students and companies meet to discuss project interest

  • February 9, 2021

    OFFICIAL PROJECT LAUNCH: We’ll find a time on this day to web conference you into our class to kickoff the project.

  • May 14, 2021

    STUDENTS BEGIN SUMMER BREAK – No work completed during this period on Capstone

  • August 23, 2021

    FALL SEMESTER BEGINS – Students pick-up Capstone Project where they left off

  • December 10, 2021

    OFFICIAL PROJECT END: We’ll find a time on this day to web conference you into our class to close the project.
