I really enjoyed working with both industry partners. Both of the projects were ideal for social work students. Our students learned so much and did so much research. It was so neat for the Dean to also see how passionate our students were about homelessness and the environment. When people think of social workers, they think of counseling, not all the other things that we can that we do. I thought these projects were a really excellent way for social work students to build their skills and discover new ways they can serve as industry professionals.

Phil and Merlin from Remote Intelligence have been terrific industry mentors. We’ve met twice via Zoom, and they’ve been to Juniata College twice to talk with students in-person and to fly drone surveys over the property where we are conducting the invasive species survey.

I appreciate all your help and the help of the CapSource team.  That single web page for the project is terrific — the materials, timeline, links, surveys, recordings, etc. — all in one place makes it easy for me as an Instructor and easy for the students.  Please communicate my thanks.

You did a masterful job of going from the big picture on adidas’ 3 strategic pillars through to your product innovations, digital strategies, influencer partnerships and grassroots efforts. I think the students have a far better sense of how challenging and exciting your work is and I know we’ll have great ideas for this project based on the time you provided today.

I never used to have a summer as it was spent sourcing companies for projects and sorting out all the details in Excel. This platform has given me an environment to do everything I used to do manually. It has truly been a blessing!

To Melissa and the whole team at Centric Br ands, thank you for your generosity, time, effort and letting us into your space! Thank you for believing us and the students, and giving us such an incredible responsibility of working on the HERVE br and launch. This was real life – not just a made up project. The students truly gave it their all to deliver the best results to your team! 

The student work on the Centric Br ands HERVE project was tremendous. This was a real challenge, with a real br and. The students had a chance to apply what they’re learning in the classroom to something that was completely real-world and relevant.

I just want to thank Jordan and the CapSource team, Phyllis and IACBE, and the team Ronald McDonald House at Jacksonville for giving our students an opportunity to participate in experiential learning opportunity, and to provide feedback about how to take the classroom to a real-world issue and context.  On behalf of Excelsior College, very appreciative of your time, expertise, and leadership.  Beyond that, this provided a chance for our online students to engage with one another and with our instructional faculty in a different way.  Very, very appreciative.  Great learning opportunity!  Great job by Ever Upward team too.

“One of the main priorities for the SUNY Potsdam Lougheed Applied Learning Center is make experiential learning accessible for all our students and faculty. Adopting the CapSource CONNECT system has enabled us to better manage our growing network of industry partners so that we that we can more effectively coordinate and track projects across all three of our colleges.”

Experiential learning is especially critical for business programs since blending theory and practice allows the students to build their confidence as they prepare for their professional careers. CapSource provides us with access to companies we would otherwise not be able to work with. They make it easy to identify the right organizations for every course given the overall structure, desired rigor, and teaching objectives.

I first learned of CapSource when one my colleagues highly recommended them. They have been incredible collaborators when Ramapo College hosted groups of business students (both graduate and undergraduate) from overseas universities. He masterfully crafted a panel of entrepreneurs, start-up experts and companies from his expansive network. The international students gained insights into the business environment in the metro-NYC area, as well as sharing ideas, posing critical questions and brainstorming solutions within this inter-cultural group of individuals. Ramapo College will continue to work with Jordan and CapSource and highly recommend any higher education institution to collaborate with them as well.
